We are currently recruiting for our 2026/27 training programme that commences in July 2026. We are offering taster sessions throughout the month of May so you can meet the staff and try some of the tasks in the charity shop. Interviews will take place in June.
 

We welcome enquiries from:

• Autistic people

Our Training Programme
 
The All Together Edinburgh charity shop creates an excellent, person-centred training and learning environment for people with learning disabilities.   
 
Candidates can enrol in either the Ready for Retail Award (5 units) or learn individual units in the Skills Accreditation Programme. The Ready for Retail is on the SCQF framework and offers units such as Basic Work Skills, Customer Care, Health and Safety, Recycling, Interview Techniques, Stock and Display and Operating a Cash Register, 
 
The Skills Accreditation Programme offers a number of units covering life, skills for work and skills for leisure. Units chosen are based on the Service User’s chosen activity/experience/skill. Each unit has a different timescale ranging from 30 weeks to a year in which to complete the unit. 

The trainee will be assessed 3 times throughout the duration of the unit and this will be carried out by trained All Together Edinburgh assessors with the support of a training consultant at Borders College. 
 
​ Trainees are presented with their certificates at a graduation ceremony at the end of their training course and given support to move on to the next step of their journey.
